Documenting Evidence.

What is the documentation?? Documentation is refer to the system that we use to give credit to our sources when we used  the words. It is very important to us when we used other sources. We need to document our sources because we need to let our reader know what we are writing and you are trying to come with new ideas. Then, it is also can inform our reader where to locate the original documents. next it is also can reduce the plagiarism by giving the appropriate credit where it is done.

There are two part of APA-style. It is very important in documenting evidence processes. The two part were an in-text citation(not a footnote) which is given the main text of the paper. And the other one was an entry in an alphabetical list of references, which appears at the end of the paper.

 The situation for the in-text citation, there were divided into 4 part. For the first part was a work with two author which is we need to place all author's name with 'and' for example "Howatt and Richard (1984).Next, a work with three to five authors which for the first citation, we were placing all name of authors then the next citation of the same resources, we just to provide the first's followed by 'et al'. Besides that, a work with o author listed or an anonymous work which is if the particle don't have specify the author use for the first or three words of the title in place author. For example, (Communicate to Teans,2007). Lastly, a sources cited in another sources for example (cited in Kuala Lumpur).

How to find the sourcing material??

Hi everyone!! We are meeting again for other topics. Today I would to share how to find the sourcing materials especially for complete our assignment. There are having three major sources materials that we can use for our assignment which are internet, specialized magazine and book.

           Most of people, they always used internet sources for their assignment. By using the internet, there are many wed or materials that we can choose to find the information which e-journal, search engine, group discussion forum and online database journal. There is also having many types of journal which are commercial journal or free online journal, for example TESL-J. We can choose which one we like. Basically, our universities would subscribe the commercial e-journal to enable students to find the information.

            Besides that, we were suggested to use specialized magazine to search the information but make sure the magazine are related to the topics of our assignment. There are many examples of specialized magazine which are National Geographic, Reader's Digest and etc. Then, the material is book. We also can refer the book especially Text book while we are completing our assignment. I think the Text book is very precise material because there are many important contents.

           Before I ended my writing, the most things that we need to take a serious are we must evaluating the sources that we used. We need to know where the information found, who wrote the sources, who published it, what are the writer sources and etc. This is because the information must be accurate.

PLAGIARISM

What is plagiarism? Plagiarism is a something familiar and it always occurred to the higher educational level's students especially during making assignment.

Plagiarism is defined as while someone have stealing the other person's work or words.They just copy and paste or take other person's ideas but they do not making any changes.In my opinion,the plagiarism is not good for the students.This is due that,student need to think and brainstorm their ideas to produce the quality work.But most of the student,they are too lazy to think and come out with the new ideas.They just want to complete their assignment only and getting the marks.

Based on my reading, there are many types of plagiarism which are total copying,patchwork copying,major copying,copying of opinion and arguments and etc.The total copying is liked something that we are copy all the words and said that is our own works.It is different between the patchwork copying which are the patchwork copying is a something that when we are copying the text from other sources and we are joining them together by making some adjustment.

Besides that, we also can avoid to do plagiarism.There are three ways to avoid the plagiarism which are think,write and signal.

1. First, we need to think and understand about our topic and research and know what we need to do.We need to clearly understand and try come out with our own ideas.
2. Second, we need to write with our own words.If we thinks that our words is too clumsy,try to meet the teachers and hopefully they can help our problems.
3. Finally, we need to clear about someone else's words.If we use the other people words, we need to use the correct citation and references or quotation mark.By doing this three ways, I hope you can avoid the plagiarism.

Conclusion, the plagiarism is very illegal and it is not good for others.I hope this information can help you to recognize the plagiarism and try to avoid it with this three ways..Thanks You..

Salam...hey everyone!!..this is my first time for having a blog..before this, i don't like to have a blog but now everything had changed. I need to create this blog only for my English class but i thinks it's okay because sometimes we can improve our English writing, English grammar and anything else..we can share anything that we are going in our life..right??
